Many questions are asked, hopefully these listed below will help to answer yours.

Q: Does it matter what color my car is?
A: No, a car wrap is not translucent; you cannot see through it.

Q: What is a car wrap? Is it paint?
A: A car wrap is a hi-tech vinyl covering that is adhered directly to your car. The application is so precise, it is often mistaken for a custom paint job.

Q: Do you wrap the front side windows?
A: No, state laws prohibit the use of wraps on driver and passenger side windows, as well as the windshield.

Q: Do you wrap the roof?
A: On most automobiles the roof is included. Generally, we do not wrap roofs on larger vehicles (vans, trucks or SUV's), unless it is requested by the customer.

Q: Can you wrap a fiberglass or chrome bumper?
A: We can wrap a painted plastic bumper without any problems. In the case of fiber-glass or chrome bumpers, application of vinyl on these areas are not recommended or guaranteed to adhere for the duration of the life of the wrap.

Q: Can you wrap trailers, trucks, vans & SUV's?
A: Yes we can, If it rolls we can wrap it.

Q: It looks like there are graphics on the windows, will I still be able to see through the windows?
A: Yes the window graphics are printed on a perforated vinyl that allows you to see through the rear and side rear windows.

Q: Can you wrap my hubcaps or rims?
A: No, we do not wrap any part of the wheel.

Q: Can we make custom magnets for my vehicles?
A: Yes we do! We can create custom high-resolution magnets in any quantity. Many company owners will provide magnets for everyone in the office.

Q: Do you produce vinyl signs and graphics?
A: Absolutely! Ask to see a sample of our vinyl display ads. We manufacture many types of vinyl signs, as well as posters, POP displays and wall and floor graphics.

Q: Why should I use wraps as opposed to painted or vinyl lettering?
A: Applying paint decreases your car's value. The same applies for vinyl lettering which can cause 'fading' or 'shadowing' to the original paint. In addition, a car wrap looks so much more stunning and appealing.

Q: What if I plan to change my company logo or phone number in the future?
A: Not a problem. We can print logos, phone numbers, websites etc. as overlays on the car wrap, so that they may be removed and replaced if you switch companies or change information.

Q: Does CG Wraps have a payment plan?
A: No, but we do accept major credit cards and checks. You will quickly see just how quickly your wrap pays for itself.

Q: Will my company pay for my car wrap?
A: Many companies will pay for, or reimburse you for your car wrap. Most companies realize the advantage of investing in such a cost-effective form of advertising.
Q: I want to wrap my car, how do I get started?
A: Call the office nearest you, or click on the map to select the office nearest you to submit a quote request from.

Q: Will the wrap damage my paint?
A: No. A car wrap, when applied and removed correctly by a professional installer, does not damage your car's paint, unless the paint is already damaged or the car has been repainted.

Q: Can I take it through the car wash?

A: Certainly. You can wash it just like you did before it was wrapped, but it is not recommended that you use wax. We recommend brushless car washes.

Q: What if I dent a side of my car, can my car wrap be fixed?
A: Yes, we can easily replace the damaged pieces or panels of your car wrap.

Q: Will my car wrap peel or fade?
A: A permanent car wrap is guaranteed not to fade, crack or peel for 60 months

Q: How effective is a car wrap?
A: Studies conducted have shown that a car wrap can garner up to 8.3 million views per year in a city of 50,000. In a medium-sized city like Pittsburgh, a car wrap can make 1,000-2,500 impressions per hour on a busy boulevard. In large metropolitan areas like New York City, impressions per hour can be as high as 20,000 per hour.

Q: Why a vehicle wrap? Why not just advertise in newspapers or magazines?
A: Combine the total that you or your company spends on advertising each year, compare those costs to the cost of a car wrap. Factor in that a car wrap lasts between 3-5 years and will be seen by millions over that period of time. In addition, there are no monthly fees, maintenance or renewal charges. You buy it, you own it!
Vehicle wraps are an unbeatable value.
